Kerala's centuries-old, palm fringed Kerala backwaters which stretch over 1900 kms offers an incredible experience to sail down these soothing waters in a house boat and comprehend the unusual aspects of Kerala life.
The materials that go into the making are local and eco friendly; bamboo poles, coconut fibre, ropes, bamboo mats, carpets etc. There are houseboats with fully furnished single room, double room and triple rooms. All of them have sundeck, private balcony with comfortable chairs, kitchen and toilet with western closets. A separate rest room for the crew is added on all boats. Traditional lanterns are provided as lights.

The crew includes a chef, and two oarsmen. The food offered is of traditionally Kerala cuisine. There are single bedroom houseboats or two people and two bedroom houseboats for four people

The above rate is for one night package only. Check-in time : 1200 noon & Check-out time : 09.30 hrs ( will be followed strictly in season ) Please note that the cruise mentioned is for 21.30 hours only not for 24 hours.

All Meals onboard is inclusive of the package tariff. ( i.e inclusive of bed tea/ coffee, breakfast, lunch, evening tea/snacks & dinner - Fixed menu veg / non-veg )

Electricity provided onboard is D.C current. You have options to charge your mobiles, lap tops, shavers etc..Most of the boats are electrified by solar panels, batteries and generators.

 For A/c Houseboats, Air-conditioning is available only in the bed rooms.
 ·
The boat will be anchored in the lake or canals during night & will not cruise beyond 6 p.m & before 6 a.m.
 
  More to Note :
All rates are net and there is no hidden charges on and above the tour tariff. Rates are applicable as per dates only. Rates Inclusive of all taxes.
Any extra services availed, like speed boat ride, safe water sports, ayurvedic massages, entry tickets to monuments or theme parks, offerings at temples, churches etc.. not included in the tour cost.
Package does not include alcoholic /non alcoholic beverages, smoke, laundry or any other expenses of a personal nature, or any meals that is not mentioned in the package.
   Booking & Confirmation
The Booking has to be confirmed with 50 % as advance, for all reservations done after 01/April/2008 . Balance amount can be paid by credit card / cash / Demand draft on arrival at Cochin / Alleppey. ( please check the availability before you deposit the advance )
Houseboat Vouchers : For Bookings within India , Houseboat vouchers will be couriered to your address after receipt of the advance. For others all vouchers will be exchanged at Cochin / Alleppey office upon arrival.
Payments : You can deposit advance payments anywhere in India using the following options : ONLINE BANK TRANSFER / CASH / CHEQUE / DEMAND DRAFT etc.
